Leslie Buck designed the 'Anthora' paper cup in 1963 featuring Greek motifs and two shields on which is written, '' We are happy to serve you''. Millions of these cups have fueled New Yorkers' caffeine addictions since then. 'We are happy to surf with you' tee was inspired by Buck's design, to memorialize one of New York's most ephemeral icons.
